 Step 1  Review (Time:ten minutes)

1. (Make conversation with students.Talk about the music)

T: Do you often listen to music in your free time?

S_1: Yes, I do.

T: How many kinds of music are there? Do you know?

S₁: No, I don’t.

T: Now, let me tell you. There are folk music, pop music, classical music.

Pop music includes rock music,jazz country music

T: which kind of music do you prefer, folk music or pop music?

S₂: I prefer pop music.

T: Good. Thank you. What kind of music do you like best, S₃?

S₃: I like rock music best.

T: Rock music and country music are both pop music. Are you clear?

S₃: Yes. So my favorite music is pop music.
